RAGHU A

Me and my family.

I was born in Siddipet on June 18, 1984. I am the youngest among the five children of my parents. Mom is a homemaker and dad has retired from Vijaya Milk Chilling Center, Siddipet, as Manager, Operations. My elder sisters are married and settled in Hyderabad. Both my elder brothers stay in Siddipet and one of them is married.

Life after INC.

After my MBA from INC, I joined PDD department on June 14, 2007 as Executive-Events & Promotions, taking care of 300+ branches throughout India. My main job is to process requests for seminars, FDPs, career fairs and other events. Conceptualizing new activities, identifying, procuring, executing branded materials and vendors are also part of my duty.

High pressure situations.

Coordinating with 300+ branches itself is a high-pressure job. Every task is as challenging as any other one, and so, every day is a high-pressure situation.

Work-life balance.

Since I stay away from home, my usual contact with my folks is through phone and whenever I get a long weekend I go home. Since I am still a bachelor, I am not experiencing any difficulty in maintaining the work-life balance.

My leisure hours.

I love riding my bike during leisure time. I also like to move around the city and meet my friends. I do watch movies with passion, the recent one being, Hancock, in which Will Smith is the hero.

Friends @ INC.

Almost all my friends are employed in Hyderabad, so I don't have any problem meeting them frequently. Though we are not able to meet daily, we ensure that we meet at weekends.

Lesson in life.

My aim is to attain a very responsible position which has ultimate challenges. What I have learnt is only a handful, what I have to learn is as big as an ocean, I would say every day is a new lesson, a new experience to me.

Advice to youngsters.

Never compromise on your strengths. Strive hard until you reach your goal.

SHRUTI SHRIVASTAV

Me and my family.

I am presently located in Bhopal with my small and sweet family. My father is working with SBI and my mother is a homemaker. My younger brother has completed BE and is at present pursuing his MBA course in Pune. Although I was born in Chhindwara, I was brought up in Bhopal and Gwalior, because of my father's transferable job.

Life after INC.

Soon after completion of MBA, I started my career with Bajaj Allianz GIC, Bhopal. I am part of this organization as SE, Administration, for the last one year.

High pressure situations.

Although my job profile is quite stressful, the support from my teammates helps me to manage things well.

Work-life balance.

My busy job schedule, obviously, does not leave any time for my family. Yet on all off days, I try to spend full time with my family and friends.

My leisure hours.

I spend my leisure hours going to movies and jaunting with friends.

Friends @ INC.

I am in touch with a good number of my old friends through mails and calls.

Lesson in life.

To reach the heights of aspiration, one has to be, initially, in the middle level management for some years.

Advice to youngsters.
