This event, titled, 'Swajan - Alumni Meet', served as a platform for the alumni
members of Ahmedabad, who enlivened their old memories.

The Gurgaon Chapter conducted a alumni gettogether on July 19, 2008 at India
Islamic Culture Centre, Gurgaon. Many members participated in the 'meet' and
made it a grand success.

New Chapter Formation
Ahmedabad
INCAS takes pleasure in announcing the formation of a new chapter in Ahmedabad
on July 6, 2008. Daisy Kurien, Trainer, Soft Skills, welcomed the participants.
Then, there was dia prajwalan (lighting of the lamp) by Srinivas Prasad,
Manager, Alumni Relations, Mukesh Bhatt, Regional Head, Vadodara, Jagdish
Patel, Campus Head, INC Ahmedabad, Ajay Shad, Vice Principal, INC Ahmedabad,
and Rakesh Gupta, T&P Head, Gujarat. The values and beliefs of INCAS were
enunciated by Srinivas Prasad. This was followed by a prayer. Mukesh Bhatt
enlightened the gathering about the importance of chapter formation. Srinivas

Srinivas Prasad and Mukesh Bhatt conducted elections for the Chapter Executive
Committee (CEC). Eleven members were chosen for the committee. The CEC members
then nominated members for the posts of President, Vice- President, Secretary,
Joint Secretary and Treasurer.
Rakesh Gupta discussed the placement positions of the alumni and this was
followed by an inspiring speech of Jagdish Patel, in which he emphasized the
potentiality in the alumni.
Alumni shared their experiences and expressed their desire to have get-togethers
regularly. The function ended with a delicious dinner and a vote of thanks was
proposed by Daisy Kurien.
